Beyond education, Khan Sir is also credited with launching affordable healthcare initiatives in Patna, including a low-cost hospital and blood bank offering diagnostics and emergency services at nominal rates for the poor.

June 6, 2026: In recent days, some vested interests and communal elements have suddenly started repeatedly calling popular educator `Khan Sir’ by his full real name — “Faisal Khan” — as if it were some explosive revelation.
For years, across Bihar and India, millions of students, followers, and the media have known and loved him simply as Khan Sir. His full name has never been a secret, yet it is now being weaponized as a dog whistle to inject a communal twist into what is essentially a cut-throat coaching rivalry in Patna.
This deliberate attempt to polarize and tarnish his image does little to hide the real story: a dedicated teacher and philanthropist who has transformed education and healthcare for the poor.
A Revolutionary Model of Affordable Education
Khan Sir built Khan Global Studies on a powerful principle — quality education must be accessible to everyone, not just the privileged. While many coaching institutes charge lakhs of rupees, he keeps fees extremely low — often just a few thousand rupees for comprehensive courses. His passionate, crystal-clear Hindi lectures on General Studies have helped thousands of rural and economically weak students crack competitive exams like BPSC, Bihar Police, SSC, Railway, and more. He has genuinely democratized success for lakhs of aspirants who could never afford big-city coaching dreams.

A Lifeline in Healthcare: The Khan Sir Hospital
Beyond the classroom, Khan Sir has turned his earnings into a remarkable public service. Inspired by his mother, he established the Khan Sir Hospital in Patna — one of the most affordable modern healthcare facilities in the region. Here, treatment is not a business but a mission of compassion.
The hospital’s groundbreaking low charges include:
- Blood tests at just ₹7
- ECG at ₹25
- X-ray at ₹35
- Ultrasound and other diagnostics at nominal rates — often cheaper than many government hospitals
He also inaugurated the 24×7 Khan Blood Bank and personally became its first donor, ensuring no poor patient ever struggles to find blood in emergencies. The facility includes dialysis and plans for expanded cancer care. Thousands of patients from all communities now receive life-saving treatment without being pushed into debt.

Business Rivalry, Not Religion
On the night of June 2, 2026, Khan Global Studies was allegedly attacked by 15-20 people who pelted stones, vandalized property, and injured a security guard. Police arrested individuals linked to a rival coaching centre. Subsequent CCTV footage showed guards firing shots (reportedly in the air), leading to their arrest and an FIR against Khan Sir under serious sections, including abetment and the Arms Act. He has maintained it was an act of self-defense against an unprovoked attack driven by professional jealousy over his institute’s massive success and results. Police are currently searching for him as the investigation continues.
This is a classic case of intense competition in Patna’s booming coaching industry. What began as a business dispute has unfortunately been twisted into a communal narrative by certain elements who are now over-emphasizing “Faisal Khan” to stoke divisions. Supporters rightly highlight that his work benefits students and patients of every faith and background.

The Real Legacy: Service Beyond Boundaries
Despite the noise, Khan Sir’s contributions stand tall. He educates minds at minimal cost, heals bodies with almost no profit margin, and builds institutions with his own hard-earned money. His model proves that one determined individual can uplift society without depending on government aid or donations in the early stages.
Khan Sir remains a modern-day reformer and a true son of the soil. In the face of these attempts to communalize a coaching rivalry, his focus on affordable education and healthcare continues to inspire millions. Bihar and India need many more like him — leaders who measure success by the number of lives transformed, not by wealth or headlines.
As the legal process unfolds, let evidence and facts prevail over surnames and agendas. Salutations to this golden-hearted educator and philanthropist.
