Amidst the ongoing Farmers’ “Delhi Chalo” protest, concerns over potential Khalistani infiltration have surfaced, sparking a debate over the true intentions behind the demonstrations. Initially aimed at advocating for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farm produce, the protest has now garnered attention due to the emergence of pro-Khalistan sentiments among some participants.

One farmer, part of the protest en route to Delhi, was captured on camera making a provocative statement, “Hume Khalistan bana do hum Pakistan ke sath mil jaayenge” (Give us Khalistan, we want to join Pakistan).

This alarming declaration underscores the presence of Khalistani elements within the protest, raising questions about the underlying motives driving certain factions.

In another similar story, a farmer was recorded live on a media person’s camera demanding Khalistan when questioned about the agenda of the fresh wave of protests by the farmers.

The Punjab Kesari reporter asked: What is the agenda of protests?
Responding to the question, the farmer replied: ”We want free Punjab. We want Khalistan.”

In response to growing concerns, security measures at Delhi’s borders have been significantly intensified. With the imposition of Section 144 and restrictions on large gatherings and tractor-trolleys, authorities are striving to prevent any potential escalation of unrest.

Barbed wire and barricades now adorn the roads leading to Delhi, particularly at the borders of Shambhu, Tikri, and Gazipur, creating a formidable barrier against the advancing protesters.

Khalistani Infiltration Amidst Farmers’ Protest:

The recent emergence of pro-Khalistan sentiments within the Farmers’ “Delhi Chalo” protest has raised alarms, highlighting the need for stringent security measures to curb potential disruptions.

As tensions escalate amidst the ongoing protest, authorities have ramped up security measures at Delhi’s borders, implementing strict regulations to maintain law and order. The presence of Khalistani elements within the protest has sparked a contentious debate over the true intentions driving the demonstrations, adding a layer of complexity to the already volatile situation.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
