An incredible trade of Hardik from the Gujarat Titans to the Mumbai Indians was finalized in time for the Indian Premier League’s 2024 season. Pandya led GT to the championship in 2022 during his two seasons as captain.
The Mumbai Indians had to offload a significant signing in order to make room in their budget to get Hardik Pandya, which allowed Cameron Green to be transferred as well.
Shubman Gill is the front-runner to take over as Captain of the Gujarat Titans’ team in Pandya’s absence. The retentions were finished on Sunday, leaving five-time winners MI with barely Rs 15.25 crore.
Along with MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma has won the title the most times for his team—five times—but what makes Sharma unique is that he accomplished it in ten seasons as opposed to MSD’s twelve.
