Hardik absent from T20 WC departure amid divorce rumors

Hardik Pandya‘s problems just don’t seem to be fading. The India all-rounder had a disastrous Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, during which he was continuously ridiculed and booed for succeeding Rohit Sharma as Mumbai Indians captain. Hardik’s on-field efforts with both the bat and ball were similarly disappointing.

As the seasoned cricketer now gets ready for T20 World Cup 2024, he wasn’t spotted among the first batch of players that left for the marquee tournament in the USA and West Indies.

Indian cricketers, led by skipper Rohit, were sighted at the airport as they prepared to fly to the United States and the West Indies for the main event. Rohit Sharma, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant were among those who were seen but Hardik was nowhere there.

BCCI shares pictures on social media

Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, and Mohammed Siraj were also featured in the BCCI’s social media photos, as was Hardik’s Mumbai Indians teammate Suryakumar Yadav. However, the MI skipper was nowhere to be located.

The BCCI decided to send the first group of players who will not participate in the IPL 2024 playoffs early on Saturday, while the rest would leave after the final. Hardik, practically, should have been a member of the group. But he wasn’t present.

Fans on social media have been questioning if Hardik’s omission from the first-batch departures is related to the rumors surrounding his personal life.

Hardik Pandya-Natasa Stankovic divorce rumours

There is widespread speculation that the marriage is having problems. These speculations arose after Natasa removed the surname ‘Pandya’ from her Instagram username. People added gasoline to the fire after the phrase “Natasa and Hardik separated” became viral on Reddit, where a fan questioned her absence at IPL 2024 matches and pointed out that she had not uploaded any photos with Hardik in the recent past.

While rumours have circulated on social media, neither Hardik nor Natasa has issued an official statement. As a result, it is currently only a matter of speculation.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
