On Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to land in Jaipur as part of his two-day official visit to India. Macron is in the nation as this year’s chief guest for Republic Day.
Macron will begin his packed day in Jaipur from Amer Fort. He will walk up to the fort where there is a cultural event planned for him.
He will then head to Jantar Mantar, a World Heritage Site, where he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders will walk around the area as it has historical significance for the French. Jantar Mantar is the world’s largest observatory and has the largest stone sundial in the world.
PM Modi and Macron will then embark on a joint roadshow from Jantar Mantar to Sanganeri Gate with a stopover at Hawa Mahal.
