Food safety violations discovered at Tollywood actor Sundeep Kishan’s Secunderabad eatery

An examination by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) personnel at Tollywood actor Sundeep Kishan’s Secunderabad eatery, Vivaha Bhojanambu, discovered various food safety violations and hygiene procedures.

In a post on X, the Commissioner of Food Safety stated that 25 kg of outdated Chittimutyalu rice was discovered, and raw and semi-prepared items stored in steel containers lacked required labeling.

Around 500 gm of grated coconut was also discarded as it was found to be containing synthetic food colours.

Furthermore, the inspection crew discovered stagnant water in the kitchen drains. “There was no water analysis report for the bubble water used in food preparation and served to customers,” according to the announcement.

The food handlers’ medical fitness certificates were not available. However, the pest control records for the premises were up to date.

Food department authorities instruct restaurant to address issues promptly

The food department has urged the restaurant to remedy the issues as soon as possible in order to avoid further action and safeguard their guests’ health and safety.

Sundeep Kishan, known for his role in the Tamil film ‘Captain Miller,’ is the managing partner of the restaurant, which has branches in Jubilee Hills and AS Rao Nagar in Hyderabad, as well as Tirupati, Ananthapur, and Chennai.

Food safety authorities have recently discovered that some of Hyderabad’s popular eateries were using expired or stale items and preparing meals in unsanitary conditions.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
