The tipster alleged she was told the gathering at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort was linked to Jeffrey Epstein, but the FBI has not confirmed whether the information was deemed credible.

December 24, 2025: An unverified tip included in the newly released Epstein files states that the FBI received information in October 2020 from an unidentified woman who alleged she had been invited to a “Jeffrey Epstein party” in 2000, which she claimed later took place at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
According to an FBI summary of the tip, the woman said she was brought to the gathering by a person named Ghislaine Lisa Villeneuve. The tipster alleged that she was initially told the event was not sexual in nature but later learned it was “for prostitutes.” The document claims that Trump had invited attendees to Mar-a-Lago, though the FBI record does not indicate whether the allegation was verified or investigated further.
Well… this is interesting.
New unredacted Epstein files reveal a troubling detail:
Around Christmas 2000, REDACTED attended an Epstein party, where someone reportedly said:
“Donald Trump invited them all to a party at Mar-a-Lago.”

The FBI summary notes that the tipster said she had not spoken to Villeneuve since 2002. Public records do not show any known connection between a person with Villeneuve’s name and Epstein, nor any prior allegations of wrongdoing. The files do not clarify whether the bureau assessed the credibility of the claim.
Separately, the newly released records show that prosecutors in the Ghislaine Maxwell case subpoenaed Mar-a-Lago in November 2021, seeking employment records related to an individual whose name was redacted. It remains unclear who responded on behalf of the club. Maxwell, a longtime associate of Epstein, was convicted of sex trafficking in 2021 and is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
The Justice Department has cautioned that some materials in the latest tranche of nearly 30,000 pages contain “untrue and sensationalist claims” about Trump that were submitted to the FBI shortly before the 2020 election. In a statement posted on X, the DOJ said the allegations were “unfounded and false,” adding that the documents were released in keeping with transparency requirements while protecting survivors of Epstein’s abuse.
