Five years after the passing of Disha Salian, the former manager of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, her father petitioned the Bombay High Court for the registration of an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray and others. Thackeray alleged that it was an attempt by the BJP government to tarnish his reputation, and he would take his case to court.
The petition was filed in court by Satish Salian’s attorney, who mentioned that the filing process would be finished by Thursday.
Disha died on June 8, 2020, after falling from the 14th level of a high-rise building in Malad suburb. The police subsequently filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR) case.
Six days later, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered deceased in his Bandra apartment. Initially, the police declared it a suicide case, which was subsequently transferred to the CBI.
In 2020, Satish Salian informed the police that he did not believe any wrongdoing was involved in his daughter’s death and was “entirely content” with the inquiry.

Disha was gangraped and murdered, says plea
However, in the latest appeal, Disha’s father raised shocking accusations. Her father stated that on June 8, Disha held a party at her residence which was attended by Aaditya Thackeray, along with his bodyguards, as well as actors Sooraj Pancholi and Dino Morea, among others.
Referencing testimonies from witnesses, her father stated in the petition that Disha was “gang-raped, held against her will, and endured horrific sexual violence.”
The petition highlighted that even though it was asserted Disha fell from a high-rise, her body showed no fractures at all. It was also claimed that there was no blood present at the location.
