The tussle for Delhi reaches its final stage, and the excitement couldn’t be higher as exit polls enhanced the suspense with forecasts that strongly supported the BJP.

Delhi’s triangular race — involving AAP, BJP, and Congress — turns counting day into a crucial occasion.

The vote counting started at 8 AM on Saturday. In initial trends, the BJP was ahead of AAP. Meanwhile, top AAP figures Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, and Manish Sisodia are falling behind.

KEJRIWAL, SISODIA SUFFER DEFEAT

In a massive result, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been defeated in the assembly elections for the New Delhi seat.

BJP candidate Parvesh Sahib Verma triumphed over Kejriwal in a closely contested battle that experienced numerous twists and turns throughout the counting process.

Previously, ex-Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also acknowledged his loss to BJP’s Tarwinder Singh Marwah.

The party is struggling in the elections as the BJP has held a significant advantage since the trends started to emerge today.

AAP is experiencing significant losses across all the VIP seats, including Kalkaji, Jangpura, and Patparganj, among others.

Arvind Kejriwal received 25,999 votes and lost the election by a difference of 4,089 votes.

Leveraging ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ and the anti-incumbency sentiment, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) aims for a significant victory in the Delhi elections while leading in 47 seats.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
