Kannada actor Darshan partied on the day of fan’s murder: Sources
Darshan Thoogudeepa, a popular Kannada actor who was arrested in connection with the death of his 33-year-old fan Renukaswamy, was partying at a Bengaluru pub on the day of the latter’s murder, according to sources. Darshan later proceeded to the shed after partying, where Renukaswamy was reportedly kidnapped and tortured before dying, they said.
According to sources, Darshan’s buddy Pavithra Gowda, who has also been detained in the case, was present inside the shed during Renukaswamy’s assault. Renukaswamy allegedly wrote nasty words about her on social media, infuriating Darshan, according to police.

Following Renukaswamy’s murder, three of the accused went to a Reliance Trends store in RR Nagar in Bengaluru to change their clothing because the ones they were wearing were blood-stained, according to them.
Darshan may be taken to Mysuru to recreate crime scene
On Monday, Bengaluru police returned the accused to the same business to recreate the crime scene. Darshan may be transported to Mysuru to recreate the crime site.
According to sources, Renukaswamy’s gold chain and wallet were discovered in the accused Raghavendra’s Chitradurga home. In addition, the accused took the fan’s gold chain.
Renukaswamy, an autorickshaw driver and member of Darshan’s fan club, was allegedly kidnapped from Chitradurga area on June 8 for sending abusive messages to Gowda. His body was later discovered near the Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru.

Renukaswamy’s post-mortem report revealed that he was tortured and given electric shocks before his death. Details of the alleged torture were revealed by Dhanraj, who was arrested in connection with the case on June 16.
The police have arrested 19 people in the case, including Darshan and Gowda.
What Kichcha Sudeep said on Darshan’s arrest?
Kichcha Sudeep, a Kannada actor, recently spoke to the media about Darshan’s detention in the murder case. He added the victim Renukaswamy’s wife and pregnant kid need justice. Sudeep also noticed that many are blaming the film industry and hoping that it will receive a pass when the perpetrator is punished.
Without mentioning Darshan’s name, Sudeep stated, “We just know what the media is telling us since we are not going to the police station to obtain information. It appears like the media and the police are working hard to unearth the truth. There is no dispute about that.”
