Shah Rukh Khan Shares Concern and Support for Rishabh Pant After KKR vs DC match
Shah Rukh Khan spoke about Delhi Capitals Captain, Rishabh Pant. Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated DC handily in their IPL match on April 29. Star Sports posted a video to social media during the KKR vs. DC game at Eden Gardens. King Khan can be heard discussing the DC captain in the video.
I felt appalled. The car video caught my attention. It was terrifying. Because we were not immediately aware of the accident’s outcome,” Shah Rukh says in the video in reference to Rishabh Pant’s car accident in December 2022.
“You get the worst feeling. To me, boys of this age are like my own son. I have a few like those in my team. I hope they’re not hurt. When a sportsman gets hurt, it’s double jeopardy. It’s worse than you or I getting injured,” SRK says in the video.
“Rishabh is a winner. I wish him all the best. I’m happy that he’s back and he’s playing well. I hope he keeps playing well,” Khan adds.

Rishabh Pant’s Recovery; From Near Fatal Car Accident to Leading Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024
Rishabh Pant was involved in a car accident on December 30, 2022, close to Roorkee, which caused the vehicle to crash. With the assistance of nearby residents, the young cricket player was able to get out of the car just before it caught fire.
Even though Pant made it out alive, it appears that his cricket career may be in danger because one of his knees was allegedly twisted 90 degrees. It occurred during his rescue because he needed to have his leg straightened in order to be removed from the car.
The fact that Pant was deemed fit by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) fifteen months after his accident is regarded by many as nothing less than a miracle. He subsequently began competing in the IPL 2024. He is the team’s top run scorer with 398 runs scored in 11 games while leading DC.
