In response to reviews, Taylor Swift is commemorating the global success of her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department. The Karma hitmaker used her Instagram stories on Sunday to post appropriate lyrics from her eleventh studio album in response to some of the favorable headlines from prominent US and UK tabloids. This occurs in the midst of a magazine declining to include a byline for a critical assessment of TTPD because of previous violent threats.

The Cruel Summer singer shared the Rolling Stone review, “Come for the Torture, Stay for the Poetry,” which included the line from the album’s title track, “And that’s the closest I’ve come to my heart exploding.” She accompanied her message with an emoji of a white heart.

#TaylorSwift is the most famous musician—and, arguably, person—on Earth, but on ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ she can’t help but infantilize the very people who buy into her music and drive her successes upwards in the first place. Read our review ↓ https://t.co/P8gv3PkIP0

In response to a five-star review published by the UK tabloid The Times, she released the lyrics from the song The Alchemy, “These chemicals hit me like white wine.”

Swift also reposted the review, “Irresistible, country-hued tales of relationships past and present,” from The Independent. In response to the favorable review, she cited another line from the album’s title track: “Everyone we know understands why it’s meant to be.”

The Fortnight singer expressed her feelings in response to Paste Magazine’s recent announcement that the author of a critical review of TTPD had had their byline removed due to “threats of violence.”

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
