Food safety violations discovered at Tollywood actor Sundeep Kishan’s Secunderabad eatery
An examination by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) personnel at Tollywood actor Sundeep Kishan’s Secunderabad eatery, Vivaha Bhojanambu, discovered various food safety violations and hygiene procedures.
In a post on X, the Commissioner of Food Safety stated that 25 kg of outdated Chittimutyalu rice was discovered, and raw and semi-prepared items stored in steel containers lacked required labeling.
Around 500 gm of grated coconut was also discarded as it was found to be containing synthetic food colours.

Furthermore, the inspection crew discovered stagnant water in the kitchen drains. “There was no water analysis report for the bubble water used in food preparation and served to customers,” according to the announcement.
The food handlers’ medical fitness certificates were not available. However, the pest control records for the premises were up to date.

Food department authorities instruct restaurant to address issues promptly
The food department has urged the restaurant to remedy the issues as soon as possible in order to avoid further action and safeguard their guests’ health and safety.
Sundeep Kishan, known for his role in the Tamil film ‘Captain Miller,’ is the managing partner of the restaurant, which has branches in Jubilee Hills and AS Rao Nagar in Hyderabad, as well as Tirupati, Ananthapur, and Chennai.
Food safety authorities have recently discovered that some of Hyderabad’s popular eateries were using expired or stale items and preparing meals in unsanitary conditions.
