High blood sugar or Hyperglycemia is linked to prediabetes and diabetes. When blood sugar levels are elevated but not high enough to be considered diabetic, it’s called prediabetes.

The hormone insulin, which your body produces to enable your cells to use the circulating sugar in your blood, is often responsible for controlling your blood sugar levels. Thus, the most significant modulator of blood sugar levels is insulin.

Lowering blood sugar aids in delaying or preventing diabetes-related problems, such as heart, kidney, eye, and nerve disorders, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It has the power to completely alter the disease’s path.

However, here are 5 simple steps you can take to lower your blood sugar levels naturally:

Drink lots of water

Maintaining appropriate blood sugar levels can be made easier by drinking adequate water. It keeps you from being dehydrated and aids in your kidneys’ ability to eliminate extra sugar from your urine.

Get enough sleep

It feels great to get enough sleep, and it’s essential for overall wellness. In actuality, insufficient sleep and poor sleeping patterns can impact insulin sensitivity and blood sugar levels, raising the risk of type 2 diabetes. They may also stimulate hunger and lead to weight gain.

Manage stress levels

Exercise, relaxation techniques, and meditation can help to reduce stress and blood sugar levels. In one study, blood sugar levels were dropped and tension was greatly reduced by exercise, relaxation, and meditation among students.

Eat lot of fiber

Fiber encourages a more gradual rise in blood sugar levels by slowing the digestion of carbohydrates and the absorption of sugar. Whole grains, legumes, and fruits are examples of foods high in fiber.

Exercise regularly

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
