Diligent YouTuber Elvish Yadav provided clarification on Saturday regarding the widely shared video in which he was seen punching YouTuber Maxtern (Sagar Thakur). As a result, Elvish was named in a formal complaint. Social media users took to the platform to call for the arrest of Elvish Yadav and to tag Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, after seeing footage of Elvish thrashing Sagar Thakur. Sagar Thakur had been bothering Elvish for months, and Elvish claimed he was furious because he had finally threatened to burn Elvish’s parents alive.

“Maxtern vs. Elvish: Controversy Erupts Over Alleged Threats and Assault”
Elvish claimed that he was not carrying a weapon when Maxtern called him at a clothes store. Maxtern was prepared for everything. He had the microphone on and there was a hidden camera. You can hear people thrashing if you watch the video. He therefore knew how to use it all and had planned it all. Maxtern was by himself, despite the fact that I went with ten or twelve people. However, the truth is that he was accompanied by four people, and I was not there to beat them up. But in reality, they were impeding me,” remarked Elvish.
“I want to ask everyone how will you react if someone threatens your family, your mother…After the fight, I reached out to him to solve it. I called him home but he did not come. The next day, he filed an FIR and then questioned why 307 (attempt to murder) was not imposed on me. The Left lobby which has always been against me because I speak about Hindutva is supporting the call,” Elvish said.

In his complaint, Maxtern claimed that Elvish Yadav had threatened to kill him and attempted to break his back. Elvish Yadav responded to this by saying, “The spine cannot be broken in that way. Yes, I did threaten him, but I did so in a fury. I had the option to report him to the police, but I chose not to.”
Elvish apologized for the beating and said that although he gets angry easily, that is not who he is in real life. “I dislike beating people up and getting entangled in disputes and FIRs. Maxtern is now claiming that because of my influence, I was granted bail on every charge in the FIR. If I had been that powerful, I could have put an end to the FIR back then. However, Maxtern arrived in Gurugram and reported me. Although it felt right at the time, I would like to apologize to everyone who believes my image was damaged,” Elvish said.
On Friday evening, in Sector 53, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against Yadav and others under sections 147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.
