Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed gratitude to voters after the BJP-NDA’s resounding performance. In response to the results, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav attributed the SP’s defeat to the BJP’s alleged misuse of power and resources. While the SP managed to secure wins in two constituencies, Yadav criticized the BJP for manipulating government machinery and using unfair tactics to influence the outcome.
“The BJP used every resource at its disposal, from administrative machinery to propaganda, to tilt the results in their favor. This is not a victory of democracy, but a mockery of it,” Yadav said. He also expressed concerns over the erosion of democratic values under the BJP-led government, calling for fair and transparent elections. Despite the setback, Yadav assured SP supporters that the party would continue fighting for justice, equality, and the welfare of the people.
The SP’s loss in key constituencies like Ghaziabad and Khair raised questions about the party’s strategy and grassroots outreach. However, the victories in Sisamau and Karhal provided a glimmer of hope for Yadav
