September 14, 2026: A Gurugram motorcyclist was thrown from her bike after a car allegedly struck her motorcycle and fled, dragging the two-wheeler a short distance before speeding away.
Sia, who runs the Instagram page rebelwheels_sia_, shared footage of the incident and said the crash followed a tense encounter with a car while she was riding on Golf Course Road on Sunday.
According to Sia, she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with members of her group when a car began following her closely. She alleged that the occupants repeatedly came dangerously close and became aggressive when she asked them to maintain distance.
Sia said the occupants then allegedly told her to stop and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. She continued riding, fearing that the car might cut her off. A friend riding behind her also tried to prevent the vehicle from pulling alongside her again.

The car allegedly continued following the group before the driver swerved in front of Sia’s motorcycle and struck it. She was thrown from the bike, while the car dragged the motorcycle for a short distance before fleeing. An action camera mounted on her motorcycle captured the collision.

A friend later spotted the car at a traffic signal and confronted the driver, accusing him of causing the crash. The driver allegedly denied involvement and drove away.
Sia has urged Gurugram Police to take action against motorists who drive dangerously and flee after causing accidents. She also shared the vehicle’s registration number and the name of its registered owner on social media.
The video quickly circulated online, drawing support for Sia and calls for police action. Users tagged Delhi Police, Gurugram Police, Gurugram Traffic Police and Haryana Police, with some demanding registration of an FIR.
Others used the incident to highlight concerns over rash driving and road safety in Gurugram.
“I have nothing to say, but today I felt unsafe on Gurugram roads,” Sia wrote. “People like these aren’t afraid of hitting people and running away.”
