Meta, the parent company of Instagram and WhatsApp, has begun restricted testing of its artificial intelligence (AI) features in the messaging app in India. Now, certain users can communicate directly with Meta AI by using the search boxes that are present on both sites. Meta AI can analyze your messages and suggest quick replies or actions based on the context of the conversation. This feature can help you respond faster and more efficiently to messages.
With this new functionality, which offers suggestions and prompts from within the search interface, users may interact with Meta AI more effectively.
Interacting with WhatsApp’s Meta AI
Step 1: Locate the Meta AI Icon
Open WhatsApp on your phone first. Search for the Meta AI icon, which is usually found in the screen’s lower right corner. This icon can include the Meta AI branding or seem similar to the Meta logo.
Step 2: Open the Meta AI Chatbox
To access the Meta AI chatbox, tap the Meta AI icon. This will start a dialogue with the chatbot powered by AI.
Step 3: Engage in Conversation
You can initiate a conversation with the chatbot as soon as the Meta AI chatbox opens. Ask questions, send images, or share details about your hobbies with the AI to communicate with it. Based on your inputs, the chatbot is meant to react intelligently and offer pertinent information or help.
Utilizing Meta AI on Instagram
Step 1: Update the software from the Play Store or App Store and open it to get started.
Step 2: Next, find and hit the search button located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: A ‘Blue Ring’ will appear around the search bar as soon as you gain access. You can now type questions or ask them aloud using the microphone.
WhatsApp Meta AI Chatbot Feature
WhatsApp’s chatbot feature, Meta AI, has started to roll out. Users who launch the WhatsApp app will see a “Blue Ring” icon in the lower right corner. By using this symbol, users can type or record their inquiries using voice input in a new window.
The AI chatbot is reportedly now being made available to a limited number of customers in a few countries where the app’s language is set to English.
Remember that users can choose not to engage with the Meta AI chatbot and continue using WhatsApp as usual. They can still carry out operations like looking for particular messages, files, or contacts within their discussions.
