A teacher in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, was detained and suspended after being accused of ordering a Muslim pupil to strike out at a Hindu classmate.

On September 26, a teacher named Sajishta was questioning a kid in Class 5 when the incident took place.

As the boy was unable to answer the teacher’s question, she allegedly asked a Muslim fellow student to slap the boy.

The matter came to light after the Hindu student showed signs of depression and confined himself to his home.

The 11-year-old youngster described his entire event when his father requested him to, and on September 27 a lawsuit against the teacher was filed.

Following an inquiry, the instructor was detained by the police on September 28 while she was placed on administrative leave by the school.

This occurs a month after a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against a teacher at a private school in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, after she told students to slap their Muslim classmates.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
