A passenger traveling to New York’s JFK Airport, an area previously linked to mysterious drone incidents, reported seeing the red orbs. Similar sightings have been reported across the eastern U.S., and even the U.K., fueling further intrigue.

A social media user on X shared a video of the incident, describing the orbs as “reddish” over New Jersey on December 27. The user, DJNarkatta, wrote, “Saw these two reddish orbs on my way from LV (Las Vegas) to JFK tonight at around 9:30 pm over NJ. I’m excited to capture more footage this week.” Another user shared a clip of the “UFO UAP Orbs,” claiming they were silently hovering in the air while suggesting that the government denies their existence.

The FBI and Homeland Security have stated that the objects do not pose a threat to public safety. However, earlier this month, the Federal Aviation Administration restricted flights in certain areas of New Jersey and New York due to the ongoing unusual activity.
A Reddit user shared their experience, noting the orbs became more visible and detailed as the flight progressed. Belleville Mayor Michael Melham speculated on Fox’s Good Day New York that the orbs could be searching for radioactive material, referencing a shipment that had arrived at its destination with a damaged container. Investigations into the mysterious phenomena continue.
