Honda Cars India is prepared to introduce the third-generation Honda Amaze in the nation on December 4. The automobile manufacturer has now unveiled the drawings of the compact sedan, which was created at Honda R&D Asia Pacific facility in Thailand.
In India, Honda provides just three models: the Amaze compact sedan, City mid-size sedan, and Elevate mid-size SUV. The updated Honda Amaze will compete against the latest Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
The design sketches indicate that the upcoming Honda Amaze will feature a revamped grille accompanied by LED headlights that are similar to those on the Honda Elevate. The back will feature Z-shaped LED taillights, akin to those we’ve previously observed on the Honda City.
New alloy wheels will also be available. Although the Honda Amaze has consistently been an attractive vehicle, it may appear more refined than ever in its new design.

The interior of the updated Honda Amaze will feature major enhancements, including a revamped dashboard and stylish air-conditioning vents. A new standalone touchscreen infotainment system will be introduced. The steering wheel will be updated with controls for audio and phone calls. Among various features, the vehicle will include automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and cruise control. We anticipate it will feature six airbags.
The updated Honda Amaze will retain the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine (90PS and 110Nm) from the previous version. The available transmission choices will feature a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
The current model is priced from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the anticipated price for the new Honda Amaze will range from Rs 7.25 lakh to Rs 10.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
