Indian giant Tata Group is now going to open an Artificial Intelligence enabled power chip semiconductor plant. For your information, let us tell you that this will be India’s first semiconductor plant making enabled power chips. With this you will now get Made in India Artificial Intelligence enabled chips.

At present, Nvidia is its largest producer in the whole world and the company is also getting huge profits at this time. According to the information received, Tata Group is going to build a mega semiconductor fabrication facility in Dhorela, Gujarat and this proposal has also been approved by the government.

For your information, let us tell you that a total investment of about Rs 91 thousand crore has been said to build this semiconductor fabrication facility. Experts believe that this AI enabled power chip plant will be able to provide direct and indirect employment to more than 20,000 people. After getting the approval from the government, Tata Group has now established its foothold in the global semiconductor industry.

Capacity of the plant

The first AI enabled power chip plant in India is being built by Tata Electronics in partnership with Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation. Let us tell you that the capacity of the manufacturing facility will be around 50000 wafers every month. Along with this, these will also include updating data analytics and machine learning to explain the next generation factory automation.

How the Chip will be used?

The AI ​​enabled power chips being manufactured in this new semiconductor facility will meet the growing demand in markets like automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communication. These will be used for applications like power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers and high performance computer logic.

For your information, let us tell you that at present a total of three AI Semiconductor Powerchip plants are going to be started in India. Of these, two AI-enabled semiconductor power chip plants are going to be set up in Gujarat and one in Assam. This is an important and historic step towards manufacturing Artificial Intelligence enabled semiconductor power chips for India. With the construction of these plants, India’s dependence on foreign AI-enabled semiconductor powerchips will significantly reduce in the future.

According to the information received, production will be started by the semiconductor chip plant started by Tata Group by the year 2026.
