Gideon Sa’ar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of State of Israel, denounced the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 28 tourists and left many others injured. He showed support for India in its fight against terrorism.
“Deeply saddened by the heinous terror attack on tourists in #Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Israel stands united with India in the fight against terror,” he wrote on X.
Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar condemned the attack and expressed support for the security forces in their fight against terrorism.
The Ukrainian Embassy in India voiced strong concern regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack, denouncing terrorism in every form and urging that those responsible be brought to justice.
“Ukraine is deeply concerned over the attack on tourists at Pahalgam, J&K, 🇮🇳. We endure the loss of life from terrorism daily and firmly condemn terrorism in all its forms. When innocent people are murdered, it brings unbearable pain. The perpetrators should be held accountable,” posts the Ukraine Embassy in India (@UkrembInd) on their official X handle.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke over the phone with Home Minister Amit Shah to assess the conditions in Jammu and Kashmir, which has been shaken by an assault on tourists in Pahalgam in southern Kashmir.
The Prime Minister is presently visiting Saudi Arabia and arrived in Riyadh earlier today. The assault occurs simultaneously with US Vice President JD Vance’s current three-day trip to India.
Terrorists associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba targeted visitors in J&K’s Pahalgam, resulting in 28 deaths and numerous injuries. The Resistance Front announced its responsibility for the assault in a social media message, posting a picture of an injured visitor.
At least two foreign nationals were also killed in the terrorist assault. Security personnel have been sent to the location, sealing it off and carefully initiating a search operation, as intelligence reports indicate a possible ambush.
