Actress Shraddha Kapoor is among the top Indian celebrities with the highest Instagram following. The actor’s number of followers has exceeded PM Narendra Modi’s count. Shraddha is presently appearing in the sequel of ‘Stree’.

Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Stree 2’

Shraddha Kapoor has 91.5 million followers on Instagram. Prime Minister Modi has 91.3 followers on social media. Priyanka Chopra is the second most popular Indian celebrity on Instagram based on the number of followers. 91.8 million followers follow her. Cricketer, Virat Kohli, remains the top Indian celebrity with the most followers on Instagram. 271 million individuals are his followers.

‘Stree 2’ success boosts Shraddha’s popularity

Kapoor’s increase in Instagram followers follows the release of her most recent film, horror-comedy Stree 2, in theaters on August 15.

In less than a week since its release on August 15, the horror-comedy film, which also features Rajkummar Rao, is close to crossing the impressive ₹300cr milestone in worldwide box office revenue. It is the follow-up to the successful movie Stree from 2018.

Kapoor’s rise in popularity on social media has been undoubtedly boosted by the success of the film.
