Actress Shefali Jariwala, famous for her role in the legendary music video Kaanta Laga and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, passed away at the age of 42. She allegedly experienced a cardiac arrest late on Friday evening.
Her spouse, actor Parag Tyagi, hurried her to the hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her deceased. Subsequently, her remains were transferred to Cooper Hospital at approximately 12:30 am for an autopsy.
The Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital stated that the body was transferred from another hospital, and the precise cause of death will be determined only after the postmortem report is available.

Simultaneously, the Mumbai Police arrived at Shefali’s home in Andheri during the late hours for an inquiry.
A forensic team was on-site and performed a detailed examination of the residence. While there hasn’t been any official announcement released yet about the details surrounding her death, the involvement of police and forensic teams indicates that the situation is being considered suspicious.
Shefali’s Career Journey
At just 20 years old, Shefali gained fame by appearing in the music video for Kaanta Laga. It was a reimagining of the famous 1972 track from Dharmendra and Asha Parekh’s Samadhi.
Since then, she has been involved in various music albums and films. Shefali took part in dance reality shows like Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye 7 with Parag.
In 2018, she starred as the female lead in the web series Baby Come Naa alongside Shreyas Talpade. In 2019, she took part in Bigg Boss 13. Shefali wed Harmeet Singh in 2004. The couple split in 2009. In 2015, she wed Parag.
