Amidst familial turmoil, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has broken his silence to address the allegations against him and his wife, Rivaba, by his father, Anirudhsinh. The cricketer took to social media to dismiss what he called “scripted interviews,” urging the public not to believe one-sided comments aimed at tarnishing his wife’s reputation.
Accusations Made By Jadeja’s Father
In a recent interview with Divya Bhaskar, Jadeja’s father accused Rivaba of creating a divide within the family and expressed regret over his son’s marriage. He lamented the strained relations between the families and expressed his disillusionment with the situation, remarking that he wished Jadeja hadn’t pursued a career in cricket or married Rivaba.
Jadeja responded to these accusations on his social media platform, asserting that the claims made in the interview were false and devoid of merit. He emphasized that while he had much to say, he chose not to air private family issues publicly. The cricketer defended his wife against what he deemed as attempts to tarnish her image, urging for restraint and respect amidst the controversy.
Through a social media post, Jadeja said:
“Let’s ignore what’s said in scripted interviews. The things mentioned in the dubious interview to Divya Bhaskar are meaningless and false. Those are one-sided comments that I deny them. The attempt to tarnish the image of my wife is improper and condemnable. I too have a lot to say but it is better that I don’t reveal those things in public.”
