Samsung is set to showcase its latest innovations at the Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow, January 22, with the expected launch of four flagship smartphones: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the Galaxy S25 Slim. While the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to be teased, its official release will follow later. Although official details have yet to be confirmed, several leaks and teasers have surfaced, offering an early glimpse at the 2025 Galaxy series. Here’s what we know so far about the new Galaxy lineup:
1. Samsung Galaxy S25 Series : Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, as suggested by a teaser post from Snapdragon. The new chipset promises better overall performance and enhanced energy efficiency. Leaks indicate that the Galaxy S25 series will come with a higher price tag compared to the Galaxy S24 series. For example, the base Galaxy S25 (128GB storage) is expected to start at 964 euros (~Rs 85,000), with the 256GB model at around 1,026 euros (~Rs 91,000). The 512GB variant could cost approximately 1,151 euros (~Rs 1,01,000). Similarly, the S25+ is said to start at 1,235 euros (~Rs 1,09,000) for the 256GB model, with the 512GB variant priced at approximately 1,359 euros (~Rs 1,20,000). The S25 Ultra’s base variant is expected to start at 1,557 euros (~Rs 1,38,000), with the highest-end 1TB variant potentially priced at 1,700 euros (~Rs 1,52,000).
4. Impressive Camera Upgrades
The camera setups are expected to see significant improvements across the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will likely feature triple-camera systems, with the main sensors being a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. 5. Battery and Charging
