Samsung is set to showcase its latest innovations at the Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow, January 22, with the expected launch of four flagship smartphones: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the Galaxy S25 Slim. While the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to be teased, its official release will follow later. Although official details have yet to be confirmed, several leaks and teasers have surfaced, offering an early glimpse at the 2025 Galaxy series. Here’s what we know so far about the new Galaxy lineup:

1. Samsung Galaxy S25 Series : Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, as suggested by a teaser post from Snapdragon. The new chipset promises better overall performance and enhanced energy efficiency. Samsung’s partnership with Qualcomm further solidifies the inclusion of Snapdragon-powered performance in the Galaxy S25 devices. Users can anticipate smoother multitasking, improved gaming experiences, and faster app load times.

2.Display Technology

The Galaxy S25 series will sport stunning Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays across all models, ensuring deep blacks, vibrant colors, and high peak brightness for outdoor visibility. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to offer a 6.8-inch QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, making it ideal for both casual use and intensive gaming. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ will likely feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively, with Full HD+ resolution, also supporting 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.

The Galaxy S25 will come equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, while the S25+ is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery, and the Ultra variant will boast a large 5,000mAh or even a 5,500mAh battery for extended usage. Fast charging capabilities will be enhanced with support for 45W fast charging on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, while the other models are expected to support 25W fast charging. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging will also be supported across all models, allowing users to charge accessories like earbuds or smartwatches on the back of the phone.

6. Storage and RAM Options

The Galaxy S25 series will likely offer multiple storage options to cater to different users. The Galaxy S25 will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, depending on the model. The S25+ will offer 256GB and 512GB storage variants, while the S25 Ultra will feature 512GB and 1TB storage options, paired with up to 16GB of RAM for improved multitasking and high-end performance. UFS 4.0 storage is expected to ensure faster read/write speeds, contributing to quicker app launches and file transfers.

7. Software and Features

All Galaxy S25 models will run on Samsung’s One UI 6.0, based on Android 14, with an enhanced user experience, improved multitasking features, and more customization options. Samsung is also expected to integrate additional AI-based features such as AI-powered scene optimization in the camera and battery management improvements to enhance daily performance. The devices will be 5G-ready, supporting both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands, ensuring fast and reliable network speeds.

8. Storage Variants

Leaks suggest that the Galaxy S25 series will offer different storage configurations across the lineup. The base Galaxy S25 will come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants, while the S25+ may skip the 128GB model and only offer 256GB and 512GB options. The S25 Ultra, being the flagship, will have storage options of 512GB and 1TB to cater to users with significant storage needs.

With significant hardware and software improvements, the Galaxy S25 series looks to be one of Samsung’s most ambitious releases yet, offering both cutting-edge performance and features to keep up with the latest mobile trends. POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
