Train travel a ‘disaster’ under Modi: Rahul

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday attacked the BJP-led central government and said traveling in trains has become a “punishment” for people under PM Narendra Modi’s rule. He alleged that Indian trains were in poor condition and said the government wanted to prove the railways as “inefficient” so that it could have an excuse to sell it to its ‘friends’.

आम आदमी की ट्रेनों से जनरल डिब्बे कम कर सिर्फ ‘एलीट ट्रेनों’ का प्रचार कर रही मोदी सरकार में हर वर्ग का यात्री प्रताड़ित हो रहा है।

Gandhi said that the common man is forced to travel by hiding in toilets or sitting on the floor. Gandhi alleged that the Modi government wants to prove the Railways as ‘incompetent’ by weakening it with its policies, so that it gets an excuse to sell it to its friends. The former Congress President said, if the transportation of the common man is to be saved then the Modi government which is engaged in ruining the Railways will have to be removed.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
