Popular Kannada actor Pavithra Jayaram dies in car accident
Renowned Kannada and Telugu actor Pavithra Jayaram passed away in a car crash in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar district. In the incident at Divitipally in the Mahbubnagar district on Sunday, she died on the spot while traveling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, according to the police.
“She died in a road accident last night at 1 am at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad. Her car lost control and hit the divider and later, a bus hit her vehicle,” according to the Bhoothpur police.
According to media reports, Pavitra succumbed to her injuries while her cousin and the driver suffered major injuries.

Her husband Chandrakant shared a pic of them together with an emotional message on social media.
The sudden passing away of the actor left the industry shocked. Expressing shock at the painful incident, actor Sameeip Acharyaa mourned the death. He wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It’s unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one.”
Pavitra’s biography
For those who don’t know, Pavitra Jayaram was born and raised in Karnataka and always had a strong desire to be an actor. She made her television debut in the Kannada serial Jokali.

She not only worked in Kannada but also in a variety of other languages, and her outstanding performance in Telugu film industry helped her to establish a unique identity.
Pavitra’s powerful acting in Telugu serials won the audience over as well. Pavitra became well-known in every home with the television series “Tilottama.” In addition, she is well-known among the public from the Telugu television series “Trinayani.”
The narrative of Trinayani revolves around her gift of prophecy, which frequently gets her into trouble. She makes an effort to use her skill to keep those close to her safe despite the obstacles. The show also starred Aashika Gopal Padukone, Chandu Gowda, Sri Satya, Priyanka Chowdary, Vishnu Priya, Bhavana Reddy, Anil Chowdary and Challa Chandu among others.
The late actor also acted in Buchinaidu Kandriga, a love drama film in Telugu. In this movie, two people from opposite social origins named Balu and Swapna fall in love, but their families are against them being married. They soon run away, only to have their elders come after them.
