PM Modi to visit the United States for Quad; address UN General Assembly
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the US from September 21-23 in order to participate in the fourth Quad Leaders’ Summit. The Prime Minister is scheduled to speak at a gathering during the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
As per a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, PM Modi is scheduled to participate in the Quad meeting in Wilmington, Delaware, organized by US President Joe Biden.

What is Quad Summit
The Quad, also known as the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, consists of India, the United States, Japan, and Australia. During the Quad Summit, the leaders will assess the advancements made by the Quad in the past year. The leaders will also plan for the upcoming year to help the Indo-Pacific countries reach their development objectives and desires.
India will host the next Quad Summit.
PM Modi is scheduled to speak at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23, where he will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ alongside various global leaders.

During the Summit, the Prime Minister will have one-on-one meetings with various global leaders to talk about common concerns.
PM Modi to meet Indian community, CEOs in the United States
During his time in New York, PM Modi will speak to a group of Indian community members on September 22. The MEA stated that he will also engage with CEOs of top US companies to enhance cooperation in areas such as AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology.
It is anticipated that PM Modi will also engage with intellectuals and other key players involved in the India-US relationship.
