On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to speak at his first rally in Bihar since the elections’ announcement, will lead the NDA’s campaign for the Lok Sabha. The rally will take place in Jamui. Around noon, Prime Minister Modi, who is seeking reelection for a third term in office, is expected to speak at the rally.
Chirag Paswan Lauds Prime Minister’s Campaign Launch in Bihar
Chirag Paswan, a BJP ally who has twice represented Jamui, a reserved seat, before handing over the reins to brother-in-law Arun Bharti, has been all praise for the prime minister’s gesture.
“It is a matter of pride for Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and the people of Jamui that the prime minister has agreed to launch his campaign in Bihar from the constituency. We are committed to helping him achieve the target of 400 plus seats for NDA, including all the 40 in Bihar,” said Paswan.
As expected, the opposition wants the prime minister, who is the main attraction for the NDA, to answer for the purported missteps of his government, particularly in Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav Questions NDA’s Performance in Bihar
Tejashwi Yadav, a former deputy chief minister and leader of the RJD, declared, “During polls, all leaders, including the prime minister, will be out campaigning.” However, the people of Bihar are curious about what they received in exchange for their massive five-year support of the NDA.”
“The NDA won 39 of the 40 seats in Bihar in the most recent Lok Sabha elections. However, the public now feels as though they have been duped, said Yadav.
Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, however, retaliated, stating, “The PM will list his accomplishments and share his vision for the future in his speech in Jamui tomorrow.” Conversely, the opposition is occupied with demeaning Modi because it has nothing constructive to say.”
Bihar’s Lok Sabha Seats and NDA Alliance
Notably, Aurangabad, Gaya, and Nawada are the other three Bihar Lok Sabha seats that will be up for election in the first phase on April 19. Jamui is one of those four seats.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U), which is running for 16 seats—one fewer than the BJP—and former Union minister Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha, which will oppose Katakat, are also members of the NDA in Bihar.
Chirag Paswan is attempting his luck this time in Hajipur, the pocket borough of his late father Ram Vilas Paswan, where his party is fielding candidates for five seats.
