Paranormal investigator and YouTuber CJ Faison, known for exploring haunted locations and unexplained phenomena, has turned his focus to an eerie mystery off the New Jersey coast. Armed with a night vision camera, Faison ventured 26 miles offshore to investigate reports of drones flying in “deliberate formations” over the Atlantic Ocean.

Faison stated that these drones have been emerging from the ocean and hovering over land for weeks. “They’re blending in—hidden in plain sight!” he exclaimed. Some lights appeared to move erratically and quickly, adding to the unsettling nature of the sightings. “It’s wild,” Faison described. “It’s eerie.”
Weeks earlier, a New Jersey sheriff’s deputy reported seeing 50 drones emerging from the ocean, while the Coast Guard recounted a chilling encounter with 13 drones swarming their vessel, some flying as low as 300 feet above the water.
While monitoring flight radar during his expedition, Faison observed no registered aircraft in the area, fueling his suspicions. “What’s launching these drones? How are they staying airborne for hours? What’s their energy source? And why here?” he asked.
Faison’s video shows additional drones hovering above the Atlantic City skyline, but he admitted that he may have arrived too late to witness the peak activity. Undeterred, he announced plans for a more extensive overnight trip into international waters, this time equipped with a more advanced camera.
The phenomenon has puzzled residents and officials alike. Authorities, including the FAA and FBI, have offered little explanation, despite receiving thousands of reports. The FBI deemed about 100 cases credible, leaving many questions unanswered.
As the mystery deepens, Faison remains determined to uncover the truth. “This is just the beginning,” he vowed, promising to return to the open ocean to gather more evidence and provide answers to the growing unease surrounding these unexplained drones.
