Muskan and her partner-in-crime Sahil, both apprehended for the murder of her spouse Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, are allegedly experiencing drug withdrawal symptoms while in custody.
Sources indicate that both individuals are dependent on drugs and have been facing significant distress since being placed in judicial custody. They reportedly asked for drugs while in jail.
Both individuals accused have been put under monitoring at the rehabilitation facility inside the prison. If their health deteriorates, they might be placed under medical observation.
Sources indicated that they might take eight to ten days to stabilize. At present, physicians are carefully watching their well-being.
Muskan’s family had earlier blamed Sahil for getting her into drugs. They also asserted that the pair was dependent on drug injections and multiple other substances.
Saurabh Rajput was reportedly drugged and subsequently murdered on March 4, after which his body was chopped and placed in a drum filled with cement.
Muskan and Sahil were taken into custody on March 18 after Rajput’s family notified authorities he was missing.
Muskan and Sahil were placed in judicial custody at Chaudhary Charan Singh District Jail in Meerut. Even though they wished to remain united, prison rules mandated that they be kept apart.

Since arriving at the jail, Muskan has shown clear signs of distress. She was unable to sleep all night, choosing not to eat. However, prison officials succeeded in persuading her to eat something.
Conversely, Sahil stayed largely quiet yet openly requested drugs. Reports indicate he has an addiction to injectable drugs and appeared visibly distressed from withdrawal.
