Meerut man killed by wife and lover on return from London; chopped body into 15 pieces

A woman from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, together with her partner, reportedly killed her Merchant Navy Officer husband by stabbing him, dismembered his body into 15 parts, and encased the remains in a drum filled with cement, police stated on Tuesday.

A woman from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, together with her partner, reportedly killed her Merchant Navy Officer husband by stabbing him, dismembered his body into 15 parts, and encased the remains in a drum filled with cement, police stated on Tuesday.

Authorities stated that the woman, Muskan, along with her partner, Sahil, was taken into custody following the recovery of the body.

The crime was discovered in Indira Nagar due to a bad odor, and details emerged about Saurabh Rajput (29), a merchant navy, who went missing on March 4. An inquiry was initiated after obtaining details regarding the issue, stated Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ayush Vikram Singh.

Based on suspicion, he stated that police apprehended his wife Muskan (27) and her partner, Sahil (25).

While being questioned, the two admitted to fatally stabbing Saurabh on March 4. The two subsequently dismembered his body, put the remains in a barrel, and sealed it with concrete, he remarked.

According to police reports on Tuesday, a woman from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, along with her partner, allegedly murdered her Merchant Navy Officer husband by stabbing him, dismembered his body into 15 pieces, and sealed the remains in a drum filled with cement.

Officials reported that the woman, Muskan, and her partner, Sahil, were apprehended after the body was discovered.

The crime was uncovered in Indira Nagar because of a foul smell, and information surfaced regarding Saurabh Rajput (29), a merchant navy, who disappeared on March 4. An investigation was launched after acquiring information about the matter, stated Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ayush Vikram Singh.

Due to suspicion, he claimed that authorities arrested his wife Muskan (27) along with her companion, Sahil (25).

During the interrogation, both confessed to fatally stabbing Saurabh on March 4. The two then chopped up his body, placed the parts in a barrel, and covered it with concrete, he noted.
