BJP Unveils Third List of Contenders for Lok Sabha Elections

For the Lok Sabha elections, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) unveiled its third list of contenders on Thursday. Tamilisai Soundararajan, a former governor of Telangana, will run from Chennai South in the upcoming elections.

Other contenders include Pon Radhakrishnan, who is running from Kanyakumari, K Annamalai, who is running from Coimbatore, and L Murugan, who is running from the Nilgiris.

The names of 72 candidates, including former chief ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Basavaraj Bommai, as well as Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Anurag Singh Thakur, were made public by the saffron party prior to the release of the current list.

Key Candidate Announcements by Vinod Tawade

Anil Baluni, a member of the Rajya Sabha and the chief spokesperson for the BJP, was nominated from Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Following the announcement of the first list of candidates for the following seats by BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawade: Twenty from West Bengal, twenty from Madhya Pradesh, twenty from Gujarat, fifteen from Rajasthan, twelve from Kerala, nine from Telangana, eleven from Assam, eleven from Jharkhand and eleven from Chhattisgarh, two from Jammu and Kashmir, three from Uttarakhand, two from Arunachal Pradesh, and one each from Goa, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar, and Daman and Diu comprise the fifty-one seats from Uttar Pradesh.
