New Delhi:
Nathan Lyon had taken his first wicket of this match and he removed the mighty KL Rahul for 84. Ravindra Jadeja has now been joined by Nitish Reddy at the crease as six-down India need a solid partnership from these two batters. Earlier, Rahul earned prized lifeline on the first ball of the day as Steve Smith dropped his catch in the slips, on the bowling of Pat Cummins on Day 4 of the third Test at The Gabba. India captain Rohit Sharma, however, couldn’t extend his stay in the middle, as he departed after adding just 10 runs to the team’s total. The Bureau of Meteorology of Australia has reported today that there is a 90% chance of rain on the last two days of the Brisbane Test played between the Baggy Greens and India on Tuesday and Wednesday.
KL Rahul ‘The Wall’ For India At the Gabba
KL Rahul, the Indian opener put up a stellar performance for the men in blue. After losing all the top Indian batters India needed a partnership to avoid the Follow-on. Along with Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul stood his ground and stood like a wall to give India a chance to come back into the game. Rahul’s gritty knock at the Gabba will always be more precious than any of his other hundreds in SENA countries.

Hazelwood Misses Play on Day 4

Today, he has bowled only one over. During the warm up session in the morning Hazelwood felt something odd in his calf, due to which he is missing play at Day 4.
