Kangana Ranaut issues statement after slap-gate incident at Chandigarh Airport

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the slap-gate incident which took place at the Chandigarh Airport when she was taking a flight to Delhi.

Kangana Ranaut claims that she was walking towards the boarding area at the airport to go to Delhi when the CISF official, Kulwinder Kaur, allegedly argued with her and slapped her.

In a video message shared on X following the incident, Ranaut stated that the official told her that she supported the farmers’ protest. The newly elected MP inquired as to how we intend to combat the rise of extremism in Punjab.

“I am safe and fine. The slapping incident at Chandigarh Airport took place during the security check. When I finished the security check and was about to pass the female security officer, she approached me, punched me, and began abusing me. When I asked her why she did it, she explained that she supports farmers. I am safe, but my concern is how to deal with the stunning increase in terror and bloodshed in Punjab,” she said.

The Slag-gate Incident

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF female jawan at Chandigarh Airport today (June 6).

According to sources, Kangana was on her way to Delhi and was waiting in an airport lounge for her departure. She was walking towards the entry gate to join the flight to Delhi when she was slapped by a CISF constable.

According to sources, the CISF constable was upset with Kangana over her purported words at the kisan andolan.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
