Jaiswal, Akash Deep put India in strong position

India started the initial session at 75/2 and added 107 runs with nightwatchman Akash Deep who appeared firm before being dismissed. Before Day 3, India’s advantage was 52 runs, and it has reached 166. The collaboration of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep helped India get on top in the Test Match.

In a gritty batting display, Akash Deep smashed England bowlers to all sides of the park and steadied the Indian innings with Yashasvi who is looking to bring up his 2nd 100 of the Test series.

Gill, Jaiswal look to strengthen India’s lead after Lunch

With KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan dismissed, it all hinges on the future of Indian cricket, featuring its top two batters in recent times, as Yashasvi Jaiswal seeks to regain his form following a string of muted performances.

He will be looking to receive strong backing from Shubman Gill, yet to enter, who has had an outstanding series in his initial appearance as captain. Regardless, it will all amount to nothing if the captain cannot guide his team to victory in this Test match

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
