In a recent public rally in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resounding message, underlining the intrinsic value of ‘Shakti’ in Indian society. His remarks came in response to claims made by Rahul Gandhi, stating his opposition against ‘Shakti.’

Modi vehemently opposed this stance, emphasizing the revered status of every mother, daughter, and sister as embodiments of ‘Shakti.’

”Mai Bharat Maa Ka Pujari Hun” – PM Modi attacks Rahul Gandhi and INDI-Alliance

The Prime Minister wasted no time and picked Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on Sunday to hit back at Congress and all INDI-Alliance partners. Modi’s words resonated with the audience, framing the upcoming general elections as a battle between those who seek to safeguard and those who aim to dismantle ‘Shakti.’  ‘Jaan ki Baazi laga dunga, mai chunauti (challenge) swikar karta hun’, said PM Modi, highlighting that he would fight all forces against the Hindu Religion and Shakti.

Addressing the rally in Telangana, PM Modi said:

“The INDI alliance in their manifesto said that their fight is against ‘Shakti’. For me, every mother, daughter, and sister is a form of ‘Shakti’.”

“I worship them in the form of ‘Shakti’. I am the worshiper of Bharat Mata…Their manifesto is to finish ‘Shakti’, and I accept the challenge…’ Main jaan ki baazi laga dunga’…,” “How can anyone on this Earth talk of destroying Shakti….everyone worships Shakti…we dedicated Chandrayaan’s success to Shiv Shakti,” he added.

What did Rahul Gandhi say about Hindu Religion and ‘Shakti’ in Mumbai?

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was addressing a massive gathering in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Addressing the crowd, Rahul launched a scathing attack on PM Modi and BJP’s agenda ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. However, a portion of Rahul’s speech featured the Hindu Religion, and PM Modi and the BJP are now using that to launch relentless attacks, framing Congress and their alliance as anti-Hindu.

“There is a word ‘Shakti’ in Hinduism. We are fighting against a Shakti. The question is, what is that Shakti? The soul of the King is in the EVM. This true. The soul of the King in the EVM and every institution of the country, in ED, CBI and Income Tax department,” Rahul said during the concluding ceremony of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

Modi’s rally galvanized support for the NDA Alliance and cemented BJP’s electoral strategy, particularly in Telangana and neighboring constituencies. With the BJP eyeing gains in the south, Modi’s engagements in states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu underscore the party’s concerted efforts to expand its footprint beyond traditional strongholds. The upcoming polls promise to be a litmus test for the BJP’s regional ambitions and the country’s broader political landscape.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
