Honda Cars India has officially introduced the Honda Amaze 2024 with a starting price of Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end variant is offered for Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Amaze is currently the least expensive vehicle in the nation featuring advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) – Honda Sensing.

All Honda models in India, whether the City mid-size sedan, the Elevate mid-size SUV, or the new Amaze compact sedan, come with ADAS. Honda is currently the sole automaker in India with a full lineup of vehicles equipped with ADAS.

The 2024 Amaze represents the third generation version of the compact sedan. The first generation model debuted in April 2013, whereas the second generation was launched in May 2018. Up to this point, the car has recorded sales of nearly 5.80 lakh units. Honda stated that the Amaze accounts for 40% of its total sales in India.

The car is available in three variants — V, VX and ZX. Below are the variant-wise new Honda Amaze prices (ex-showroom, introductory for 45 days).

New Amaze V MT – Rs 8 lakh
New Amaze V CVT – Rs 9.20 lakh
New Amaze VX MT – Rs 9.10 lakh
New Amaze VX CVT – Rs 10 lakh
New Amaze ZX MT – Rs 9.70 lakh (with ADAS)
New Amaze ZX CVT – Rs 10.90 lakh

Honda Amaze 2024 key specs

The 2024 Honda Amaze competes against the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. In the compact sedan category, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire leads with a 61% market share.

Regarding its dimensions, the updated Amaze measures 3,995mm long, 1,733mm wide, 1,500mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,470mm. The stated ground clearance is 172mm. The vehicle features one of the most spacious trunks in its category, measuring 416 litres.

Honda has implemented notable modifications to the exterior of the Amaze 2024, featuring new LED projector headlights with built-in LED DRLs and turn signals. The front also features LED fog lights. The striking grille appears to be influenced by that of the Elevate. At the back, there are LED taillights shaped like wings, reminiscent of a city. The vehicle runs on machine-crafted dual-color 15-inch alloy rims.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
