The BJP released its first list of 67 candidates for the upcoming Haryana legislative assembly elections on Wednesday, which includes Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini running from Ladwa. The list contains ex-minister Anil Vij, Bhavya Bishnoi, and Aarti Rao, the daughter of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh.
Ex-Haryana home minister Anil Vij to contest from Ambala Cantt
In accordance with the roster, ex-state home minister Vij will run for the Ambala Cantt position, while Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma’s mother, Shakti Rani Sharma, will be a candidate for the Kalka seat.
Gian Chand Gupta, former Speaker Kanwar Pal Gurjar, former Lok Sabha member Sunita Duggal, Bhavya Bishnoi, and Tejpal Tanwar have been nominated to contest from different constituencies in Haryana.

Former Indian national hockey captain Sandeep Singh dropped from Pehowa
Nevertheless, Sandeep Singh, the ex-captain of the Indian national hockey team, has been excluded from the Pehowa constituency. Sardar Kamaljeet Singh Ajrana will be running for the BJP ticket in the constituency, replacing Singh. Furthermore, Meham has awarded a ticket to Kabbadi player Deepak Hooda.
Former JJP MLA Devendra Babli fielded from Tohana
Three ex-MLAs from JJP – Devender Singh Babli (Tohana), Ram Kumar Gautam (Safidon), and Anoop Dhanak (Uklana) – who recently changed to the saffron party, have also been awarded with tickets.
The BJP has removed nine MLAs, one of which is a current minister.
The BJP released their list shortly after the JJP announced their list of 19 candidates in partnership with Azad Samaj Party. The ex-deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, who is currently serving as MLA, will run for election from Uchana Kalan. 15 individuals on the roster represented the JJP, while 4 belonged to the ASP led by Chandra Shekhar Azad.
