Even though the original Google Pixel Watch had a few technological problems, the second generation model was a significant upgrade. Because it largely resolved the problems with the previous model, it was a much superior smartwatch.
We’re supposed to see the Google Pixel Watch 3 this year. Even while an official announcement is still a few months away, there are already a few topics we can discuss. This is what we currently know!
Google Pixel Watch 3 Release date
October 2022 saw the release of the first Google Pixel Watch, while October 2023 saw the release of the Pixel Watch 2. The most recent Google Pixel flagship phones were released alongside both Pixel Watches.
It’s reasonable to assume that the Google Pixel Watch 3 will be released in October 2024 along with the Google Pixel 9 series, which, if the rumors are true, may include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL this year.

Google Pixel Watch 3 Price
Rumors about the price of the Google Pixel Watch 3 have not yet surfaced. However, the last two iterations, which have been constant thus far, can give us some insight.
The Wi-Fi model of the original Pixel Watch cost $349, while the LTE model cost $399. For Wi-Fi, the Pixel Watch 2 costs $349, and for LTE connectivity, it costs $399.
Google Pixel Watch 3 Design
Thus far, the Pixel Watch series has a straightforward overall design. Along with a customized watch band, it has a circular watch face and a crown on the side. Some people consider the Pixel Watch’s simple, understated appearance to be one of its greatest features.

Google Pixel Watch 3 Specifications
With 2GB of RAM, the Pixel Watch 2 was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 CPU. Compared to the first Pixel Watch, which had an Exynos chip, these were significant advancements.
Although the Pixel Watch 3’s chipset hasn’t been revealed, we can’t see Google going backwards given how much superior the W5’s Exynos chip was to that of the first model. There should be more information about the Pixel Watch 3’s specifications as the fall Google Pixel event approaches.
However, there are already rumors indicating that an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip will be included in the Pixel Watch 3. This is the chip that allows for extremely accurate short-range communication and position tracking.
