Money laundering case against Elvish Yadav

Social media influencer and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav often remains in the headlines for some reason or the other. Recently, Noida Police had arrested him in the snake poisoning case at a rave party. Now the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has registered a case of money laundering against the YouTuber and social media influencer.

According to reports, the ED’s initial findings indicate that the snake venom that was purportedly implicated in Yadav’s case ended up at high-profile gatherings at renowned Delhi-NCR hotels, clubs, resorts, and farmhouses. All parties to this case will be questioned by ED officials.

There seems to be little or no respite for Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, for now as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has already booked him, according to sources. ED will also investigate the fleet of expensive cars owned by him. Along with Elvish, ED will also interrogate the owners of big hotels, resorts and farm houses. Noida Police had recently arrested Elvish and he is currently out on bail.

The investigation is a part of the ongoing case pertaining to Yadav’s purported participation in the buying and selling of snake venom. Yadav is anticipated to be called in for interrogation shortly. Yadav is the focus of an inquiry being conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act by the ED’s zonal office in Lucknow.

Snake poisoning case

Earlier in March this year, Elvish was arrested by Noida Police and sent to 14-day judicial custody in the snake venom case. During his judicial custody, Elvish Yadav had allegedly mentioned the name of singer Fazilpuria. According to reports, Elvish also admitted that he had met all the arrested accused, including Rahul (the snake charmer), at different rave parties and was acquainted with them.

But five days later, he was freed on bail. After receiving a complaint from Gaurav Gupta, who represents People for Animals, the organization founded by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi, legal action was taken against him.

Yadav and five other people were charged under various sections of the Wildlife Protection Act at the Sector 49 police station in Noida.

Siddharth Yadav alias Elvish Yadav is a popular YouTuber from Gurugram. Apart from winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, he is also known for his music videos and is very popular among the youth.

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
