In a tight Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election, both the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) secured two seats each.
NSUI won the President and Joint Secretary positions, while ABVP achieved success in the Vice President and Secretary roles.
Raunak Khatri from NSUI was elected President, while Lokesh Choudhary was appointed as Joint Secretary. Conversely, Bhanu Pratap Singh of ABVP won the Vice President position, while Mitravinda Karanwal was elected Secretary.

The ABVP, NSUI, and the Left-aligned coalition of AISA and SFI engaged in a intense contest during the elections.
In the contest for the President’s position, Raunak Khatri from NSUI faced off against Rishabh Chaudhary from ABVP and Saavy Gupta from AISA.
Despite the High Court’s order to stop defacement, campaign posters and leaflets were scattered throughout the campus.
At present, ABVP has the most seats in the DUSU, however, this year’s election outcomes have slightly altered the balance of power.
