In a show of national unity and spiritual solidarity, Delhi’s Raj Niwas today hosted a ‘Sarva Dharma Sabha’—an interfaith prayer assembly—where religious leaders and citizens from across communities came together to express unwavering support for India’s Armed Forces amid ongoing military conflict with Pakistan.

The event was jointly hosted by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena and Delhi Chief Minister, with the participation of Hon’ble Minister Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa and the Chief Secretary. Leaders and devotees representing the Jain, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Muslim, and Hindu faiths took part in the gathering, offering prayers for the strength and success of India’s military and for the well-being of the nation.

The Sabha took on added significance in light of recent escalations along the India-Pakistan border, following a wave of retaliatory military operations by India in response to a deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the assembly, Lt. Governor Saxena emphasized that India’s fight against terror transcends religion and community lines. “Our supreme identity is that of being Indian—Bhartiya,” he said, noting that the country stands united in its support for the Armed Forces and the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Echoing these sentiments, the Chief Minister and religious representatives underscored the importance of national unity, especially during times of external threat. “This is not a war of religions, but a battle for peace, justice, and national security,” said one of the participating faith leaders.

There was a unanimous reaffirmation of faith in the capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces and the resolute leadership guiding the country through this period of tension. Many speakers also praised the government’s firm stance against terrorism and commended the Indian military’s precision and restraint in its operations.

The Sabha concluded on a spirited note, with attendees raising slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram,” and “Hum Sab Ek Hain,” reflecting a powerful message of collective strength and national harmony.

As the nation watches the developments at the border with concern, events like the Sarva Dharma Sabha offer a poignant reminder of the unifying power of faith, patriotism, and a shared commitment to the country’s sovereignty.

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
