Precautions
Wearing a mask is essential when visiting crowded areas or if you experience symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, headache, or fever. As per the 2023 AIIMS/ICMR-COVID-19 National Task Force recommendations, individuals exhibiting mild symptoms should quarantine at home.
At home, you need to keep physical distance, wear a mask, and ensure proper hand hygiene. Mild cases are generally handled with rest, hydration, and medications to alleviate symptoms. Keep yourself hydrated, track your temperature, and avoid antibiotics unless there is obvious evidence of a bacterial infection.
