A British woman was allegedly raped in Delhi after arriving in the city to meet the assailant she had befriended via social media. The authorities stated that the individual was apprehended on accusations of rape.
The incident occurred at a hotel located in the Mahipalpur region of Delhi. The man’s partner was likewise detained on accusations of molestation.
The woman, a friend of the man via social media, traveled from the UK to Delhi to see him.
The details regarding the event had been sent to the British High Commission.

The incident is reported days after a group of three men gang-raped an Israeli tourist and a homestay owner in Karnataka. The incident took place when a bunch of adventurers was observing the stars by the canal located close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi. All three individuals suspected have been taken into custody.
Another traveller from Odisha was discovered dead in the incident after he and two others were shoved into a canal by the assailants in Karnataka.
