On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will give a befitting reply to every act of terrorism. These were the initial public comments from the Union Home Minister regarding the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.

Delivering a stern message to terrorists, Amit Shah stated, “If anyone believes a cowardly act is their victory, they should keep in mind this is Narendra Modi’s India — and revenge will be taken, one by one.”

He restated the government’s dedication to eliminate terrorism from every corner of the nation. “Our determination is to eradicate terrorism from every corner of this nation, and we will achieve it,” he stated.

The Home Minister additionally addressed global assistance for India’s battle against terrorism. “Not just 140 crore Indians, but the entire world stands with India in this battle. Every nation across the globe has united and is supporting the Indian people in their fight against terrorism.”

Amit Shah expressed, “I wish to emphasize our determination that our fight will persist until terrorism is eliminated, and those responsible for these acts will undoubtedly face suitable consequences.”

The terror attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 25 tourists and 1 local resident, was among the most lethal assaults on civilians in recent history. The assailants had organized the assault at a picturesque meadow that necessitated hiking or utilizing a pony service to reach the location.

The Union Home Minister had quickly gone to Srinagar right after the terrorist attack on tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam on April 22. On April 23, he encountered the mourning families and expressed his sympathies. He placed wreaths on the bodies of the victims and promised that the “perpetrators of this heinous terror attack will face consequences.”

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
