Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders began a mass fast across the country on Sunday to protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Big leaders of the party reached Jantar Mantar in Delhi for fasting in the morning.
‘Mass fast’ to protest Kejriwal’s arrest
Aam Aadmi Party demands that Kejriwal, who was arrested on March 21 in the liquor policy scam, should be released immediately. ED has implicated him in a false case. The party said in a post on X- The entire country is united against dictatorship. Let us come together and raise our voice for the son of the country.
Earlier, AAP had also demonstrated across the country on 26 March. Party workers in Delhi had also set out to surround the PM’s residence, but were stopped on the way by the police and taken into custody.
The AAP will also plan a large-scale rally in the capital cities of 25 Indian states, in addition to New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Melbourne, and London. The party’s main event started at 10 a.m. today in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

Kejriwal’s life dedicated to the people: Sanjay Singh
AAP leader Sanjay Singh who was arrested in October of last year in connection with the Delhi liquor police case, was freed on bail on April 4. Speaking at the rally on Sunday, he declared that “Arvind Kejriwal was, is, and will remain honest.”

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said- He has been implicated in a conspiracy to destroy AAP. BJP has done the liquor scam, bribe of Rs 55 crore was taken from Sharad Reddy after his arrest.
Sanjay Singh accused BJP of forgiving Rs 15 lakh crore to the capitalists. BJP did scam in the name of demonetization. The most corrupt party is BJP. He named BJP Bhangaru Janata Party. At the same time, he said that there is no evidence against Kejriwal, witnesses have been created under force. Kejriwal’s life is dedicated to the people of Delhi and the people of the country.
‘Sharab se sheesh mahal’
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and party leaders protested against AAP as part of the ‘Sharab se Sheesh Mahal’ campaign. He kept the model of Kejriwal’s house and said that it is a model of corruption of Delhi CM. Apart from this, the party demonstrated by showing Sanjay Singh’s picture on a cutout of a liquor bottle.
