WhatsApp has begun rolling out a security feature that stops users from taking screenshots of their profile photos in keeping with its goal of enhancing privacy. For the majority of WhatsApp Beta testers, the screenshot-blocking capability has been accessible since February 2024.
WhatsApp is reportedly pushing out a feature that allows Android beta testers to filter chats, according to a report from WABetaInfo. The app’s update version 2.24.6.16 has the feature available.

1. Default screenshot blocking

Nevertheless, while visiting a contact’s profile or the chat page, you can still capture screenshots of their profile thumbnails. 3. Filter chat feature
The messaging software is now offering two filters: one that shows users a list of their group chats, and the other that only shows unread messages. Additionally, the report notes that these filters are positioned beneath the app’s top bar.
The report claims that WhatsApp will soon include a new row at the top of the conversation list that will include chat filters. With these steps, they will be able to filter the chat list so that it only shows conversations of a particular kind.
